However, Kevin Alejandro, who plays Manny Perez, was not included, shocking fans. According to sources, this absence may be related to the dramatic developments in the season 3 finale, when Manny faced charges of assault and endangerment. In the season 3 finale, Manny was arrested shortly after walking his daughter Gabriela down the aisle, a moment that was both touching and tragic.
Manny Perez, whose journey from a fallen criminal to the position of captain of the Three Rock Fire Station has become one of the most beloved characters, has not only brought emotional depth to the character, but also portrayed the inner struggles of a father, a leader, and a man searching for meaning in life. However, according to an article from Deadline on April 26, 2025, Fire Country is undergoing a major cast overhaul, with two main cast members, Billy Burke (Vince Leone) and Stephanie Arcila (Gabriela Perez), also confirmed to be leaving their main roles in season 4. The departure of Manny’s daughter Gabriela has further fueled speculation that Manny may no longer appear, or that his role will be significantly reduced.
